Where possible, the construction is based on the original military specification, upgraded by using materials and techniques not originally available.

Introduced following requests from many customers for a simple military style "beater". Case Bead blasted steel case with pressure fit back and fixed bar lugs, acrylic crystal and water resistant to 50 metres. Black dial with white Arabic numbers, date, luminous sword hands and markers.Dimensions 36mm diameter, 42mm lug tip to lug tip and 9.8mm thick to the top of the domed crystal. Lug spacing is 18mm.Movement ISA (Swiss) 2 jewel quartz, calibre 1198/103 with quickset date. Battery life of approximately 36 months, takes a SR927SW (395) button cell.The watch is supplied with a NATO strap of your choice, black, grey, green or Bond (please state preference when ordering). Using the same case as the PRS-3 Royal Navy diver's style but fitted with an automatic movement and, by popular request, a BRIGHT orange dial as well as a conventional black dial. I think this is the first time that a diver's watch has been made with an orange dial and black PVD case but if anyone knows of another, please send me a scan. Case The black case is PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coated, which is a process developed for coating the tips of metal cutting tools to extend their life. It's a complex process involving high temperature, high voltage and a vacuum cabinet filled with inert gas. PVD coating is extremely hard and durable and should not be compared with anodising or any other coating method.Screw back, screw down crown and crown protectors. Unidirectional ratchet bezel with luminous "pip" in the triangle and flat sapphire crystal with anti-relective coating on the underside. The luminous on the dial and hands is Luminova. Water resistant to 30 bar/300 metres/1000 feet. Dimensions 39 mm across the bezel, 45 mm across the case to the tip of the protected crown, 47 mm lug tip to tip and 11.45 mm thick. Lug spacing is 20 mm.Movement ETA 25 jewel automatic, calibre 2824-2 with quickset date and hacking seconds. Both black and orange dial versions now sold out. Based on Defence Standard 66-4 (Part 1) and manufactured to the same military specification as the official issue dive watch but with a few differences. This standard was published in 1971 and one of the advantages of not having to follow a specification exactly is that you can build in improvements which have evolved since the standard was written. This watch has had the crystal upgraded from mineral glass to sapphire and the movement is a Swiss quartz with lithium battery and 10 year battery life.

Acrylic crystal and fixed bar lugs. Water resistant to 3 bar/30 metres/100 feet.Dimensions 36 mm diameter, 46.25 mm lug tip to tip and 10.8 mm thick.
